We provide on-site slip testing across the Central Coast, including Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, Tuggerah and Wyong. Pool surrounds, holiday and residential strata, aged care facilities, clubs and new developments are among the sites we test.
Life on the Central Coast happens close to the water. Sand, salt and wet feet travel from the beach and the pool into lobbies, stairwells and units, and outdoor tiles and timber decks weather quickly. Areas we're often asked to test:
Pool surrounds and change rooms
Balconies, decks and outdoor stairs
Entries and lobbies in holiday and residential strata
Bathrooms, ensuites and corridors in aged care and retirement living
Club and restaurant entries, kitchens and amenities
Paths and ramps in new estates and developments
Sites we test across the Central Coast
From Woy Woy to Wyong, we test:
Holiday apartments and residential strata
Retirement villages and aged care facilities
Clubs, hotels and restaurants
Schools and childcare centres
Shopping centres
New housing estates and commercial developments
Council facilities and public amenities
How slip testing works
1
Tell us about your site
The address, the surfaces and areas you need tested, and why: a risk check, a handover, a specification or an incident.
2
We confirm the method and quote
We recommend the right test method and standard, the number of test locations, access and timing.
3
We test on site
We take measurements at each agreed location, record the surface conditions and photograph every test area.
4
You receive your report
Readings and the mean BPN for each location, with a photo of every test area.
We test across the Central Coast, including Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, The Entrance, Tuggerah, Wyong, Woy Woy and the surrounding suburbs.
Can you test pool surrounds at holiday apartments and resorts?
Yes. Pool surrounds, change rooms and outdoor showers are wet most of the time, so they're among the areas we test most often. Ourslip ratings guideexplains the classifications usually recommended for pool surrounds.
Should aged care facilities and retirement villages have their floors tested?
Older people are more vulnerable to falls, so bathrooms, ensuites, corridors and entries need surfaces that perform consistently. Testing gives providers measured results to support falls prevention and maintenance planning.
How long does a slip test take?
Each test location only takes a short time. The total time on site depends on how many locations and surfaces we're testing, and we'll give you an estimate when we quote.
Do you test new developments on the Central Coast?
Yes. We test newly installed floors, stair nosings, ramps and outdoor paving in new residential and commercial developments, so builders can check the finished surfaces against the specified rating before handover.
